Love the guy she talks to and dances with at the beginning. Some of those chorus people look like the ones AM danced with in “Bye Bye Birdie.” The same actress played her mother in both movies. Love that the last name of her character is Olsson, which was her real last name.

I did some research on the song and it is Need Your Lovin’(Oh So Bad) by Ronnie Hawkins from August 1959/ never heard it though/
